Hello to all,
I'm an aspiring writer with an odd background. I did not start reading fantasy until my after college, but fell in love with the genre, my first love being history. I have a bachelors and masters in the subject, with a concentration on military history.
Anyway, I'm also a certified personal trainer and often go for long runs. While running, I think about scenes from movies, books, etc. and either place myself in that situation, or create a whole new scene just for the entertainment. I eventually came up with new races, cultures, and magic systems. One day I had the idea "you should really write this down," and here I am.
I'm from New Jersey, am a former martial artist in Jungki Hapkido, and am interested in all sorts of subjects, including history, economics, politics, anthropology, psychology, physiology, and a bunch of others. I'm also an enthusiastic amateur in the firearm world, not a gun nut (yet) but not a complete novice either. Looking forward to learning from everyone and contributing my knowledge when I can.
