Greetings from a fantasy newbie!

Hi everyone, I'm completely new to the community, and I'm really excited to be here! I've been a massive fantasy fan for a long time, and I've finally decided to take the plunge and try mapping out a project of my own.

I've mostly written smaller things like essays, poems, short stories, and dipped my toes into songwriting, but this is my very first time tackling a large-scale project. Right now, I'm working on the early blueprint stages of an urban fantasy concept rooted in mythology. I have a collection of world-building ideas, lore, and plot outlines in my notebook that I'm trying to piece together.

I'm here to learn, especially when it comes to the ropes of pacing, structure, and finding the right point of view. Since I'm starting completely from scratch, I'd love to hear your thoughts, learn from your experiences, and dive into discussions about craft with you all. Nice to meet you all!
