Hello there fellow fantasy writers. For a while I have been lurking on this site but I waited until I was done with my finals to actually register myself.
Perhaps a small introduction is in order:
I live in Belgium, more precisely the Flemish, Dutch speaking part. I study Dutch and English Linguistics and Literature at the University of Antwerp. I have been writing for about ten years, though only very recently it became serious. I started a round robin fan fiction with a friend. The plot was, however, so interesting that we wanted to rewrite it to an original story. Right now we are finishing the last parts of the fan fiction version and meanwhile we are converting the plot into something original. Beside that I'm a passionate reader and I have a weak spot for Finland (though haven't been there yet, September will be the first time) and I love horses, birds, bears and cats.

If you have questions, feel free to ask! I do know quite a lot about horses, but my historical knowledge is rather limited.

Hello Aprella. You already offer a benefit to the community that will surely be exploited. You can find a thread about horses here.

And you are a linguistic major? There is a group of conlangers lurking around here. You may want to start a thread about constructed languages if you have the time. Please do so under the Research Forum.
