Hello all,
I'm Hans, a programmer from germany who likes to create phantastic worlds in his spare time.
You probably won't see many stories from me, because as you can very well see at this post I struggle to write comprehensible english. I prefere to write in german.

One question about your stance on posting in older threads. There are forums where this so called necroposting is ab big bad NO! whereas in the german Weltenbastler forum in some boards we actually like it when someone brings new ideas to a five or so years dormant topic. After all we could all stop writing, if there were no new ideas to "How does XY work in your world" after some time.
So how is that handled here?

das Forum hier gibt es ja erst seit Anfang dieses Jahres, deswegen kannst du auf jeden Fall was in "alten" Threads schreiben.

This forum has only been around since January I believe, so there are no really "old" threads. Post where ever you like.

As Amanita said, you may post in whatever thread you like. In many places posting in old threads is seen as a breach of etiquette. My perspective is different. Since most of the topics that we deal with here are timeless, I don't see any problem with revisiting topics years down the road.
