Hello,

About myself: recent college graduate with a major in molecular and cellular biology. I actually do not read that much, except the textbooks that helped me get through my curriculum and the ones I am currently using as preparation for the MCAT.

I began writing my sophomore year in college and, like most of you (I'm assuming), would like to realize my (or in your case "their") dream of being a published author. I have absolutely no idea where to start, with the exception of actually writing, so any helpful suggestions as where to begin my journey into publishing would be very much appreciated.

This community seems great and I am happy to become part of it.

Congrats on finishing school! I myself have one more year, so I envy you. Good luck on the MCAT.

A friend of mine who is a published author once told me to write every day. Whether it be five words or five chapters - just write. Maybe that'll help? It's been good advice.
