Hello, been reading up on writing lately to see if it's something I want to do or if I should just keep it all in my brain another few years.
Hopefully I can learn a lot from you folks here!
The current story burning a hole in my brain would be some type of "six-guns and sorcery" genre. More African railway through jungles than the Great Plains though. Some type of Orc version of Clint Eastwood caught up in a The Ghost and the Darkness type tale only with your typical fantasy menagerie. Not quite that simple but that's the gist of it. Ideally set over a longer period of years ala Pillars of the Earth type books but I doubt I'd start with such a lofty ambition.
I've always enjoyed storytelling and such but first I am enjoying just reading about the art of putting a story into written form. Campfires, bedtime stories, and RPGs have been my medium thus far in life.
Anyhow, thanks.
