I'm a lawyer by day (and often evening) and an aspiring fantasy writer by night. I found this site while procrastinating and then found it had a lot of interesting posts on it so I thought I'd sign up.
I've enjoyed both sci-fi and fantasy for a long time, but I only started writing very recently. After showing my girlfriend a scene that I'd written that worked quite well I just decided to start writing in mid-December last year. So far I've got a bit over 35,000 words of dubious quality of my fantasy novel idea down.
I hope I can benefit from this site and make my own contribution to it too.
