Hi everyone! Aspiring novelist from the US. I've been writing for a number of years now, mostly in college, but poetry was my primary genre. I've never been published - I've tended to keep my writing to myself for a number of reasons. It's recently that I've been revisiting my desire to be a published writer. I am currently fleshing out a fantasy novel series - I have a couple of characters sort of worked out, but I have been focusing more energy on world building.

I am almost 30 years old, married to a lovely man, and we have an intelligent, beautiful daughter about to turn 2. I am a certified English teacher, and my husband works in manufacturing but is looking for work as a web developer.

This can be a great place to help with world building [and lots of other things].
I've found the two The "Daily" Worldbuilding Prompt threads run by Ban to be interesting and helpful [even if I didn't always post my responses].
