I'm Aegle, and stumbled upon this site/forum just recently. It's a real delight to meet you all.

I've been writing fantasy even before I could write! Painting and filtering fantasy scenarios/landscapes into my adolescent mind!

More than actually devising novels for my love for fantasy-- I do a great deal of storygaming/storyplaying, or roleplay over IRC chat. We are a writing-intensive game which emphasizes gritty realism and character development. The game is relatively new, but definitely my home. I have several years of online roleplaying! Welcome. I was once part of a forum that had a chat room where they set up times for writers to show up as characters in their novels or WIPs.

That's incredibly interesting! I think it's rather liberating too, because if you're in mind to test-drive some characters, or ideas-- roleplaying is ideal. Perhaps though- it could be that I'm just a sociopath and not a writer. Hah.
