Kindle Unlimited - good or bad for self-pub authors?

Article Team
Honestly, there's nothing wrong with trying KU and seeing how it goes. You will need to give it time as publishing is a long game. Then there's wide. Nothing wrong with trying that either. I've done both and prefer wide. That's when I started making the royalties that help my finances each month. I've come to depend on those royalties. Either way, you're going to need good books with good hooks and lots of variety to offer readers. It takes time to build a catalog but you can do it. You can even have some books in KU and others out. Have fun, experiment and explore!
