Looking for Fantasy/sci-fi books?

Wasn't quite sure where to post this question so sorry if it's in the wrong place.

I've tried looking on google and my local Librarian couldn't find anything under the subject I'm looking for so I thought I'd ask the Fantasy experts.

I'm looking for a Fantasy novel (though this subject may come more under dystopian) That has a Holocaust type theme to it. So very similar the Holocaust but in a Fantasy setting. If you can't think of a book I don't mind Dystopian or Alternative history(as long as it has some Fantasy).

Thanks for any help x

Hey there,
"A Canticle For Leibowitz" by Walter M. Miller Jr.
I read this some years ago and I loved it. It kind of falls in the category you mentioned. Hope you like it too.

Nothing with a Holocaust theme (I presume you are distinguishing this from an apocalyptic theme) comes to mind, but I second the vote for Miller's book. Should be required reading.

Why not write it yourself?

Another vote for "The Canticle for St. Leibowitz" even if its not exactly what your looking for, I would recommend reading it just because.
