I have struggled for years to get words on the page. I might get a page done once every few months (!) and then not be happy with what I wrote. I would save nothing.

I have recently discovered a website that has me jonesing to get back to it and write. http://www.750words.com. It has a few trial period and past that it is very affordable. All that is required of you is to write 750 words a day. It is a basic word processing program that counts your words and let's you know when to stop, if you wish. It rewards you with badges and has contests to enter if you want, and tracks your writing stats. It tells you how you have done versus other participants and encourages you to return every day. You can print and export from the program easily.

If you struggle as I did with sitting down and just getting some words on the screen, I encourage you to check this out. I am currently writing character histories and support material to my story, but the program can be used however you want.
