I decided to post when I thought that an octopus cloak would make an awesome magic item.

Yeah, octopi are pretty much what chameleons were exaggerated to be.

They are also crazy smart. Captive ones have been known to temporarily escape their aquariums and break into their owner's supply of octopus food.
