I don't know if anyone has seen this, but I thought it deserved to be mentioned.
Project Eternity is the newest game by Obsidian, developers of Fallout New Vegas and including many of the original developers of the original Fallouts. The game is intended to be more in line with old school RPGs like Icewind Dale or Planescape: Torment (both of which were developed by Obsidian).
They've decided to use Kickstarter to fund it, which means the players themselves get to help support it from the ground up. Something I thought was really cool.
They've entered their final week and I thought it might be worth mentioning, since there's so few of this type of RPG on the market right now but, more importantly, Obsidian is known for their story elements. So, if you like this type of game or a good story, go and pledge if you'd like. For only $20 you can get a digital copy of the game, which is cheap in today's market.
