Such a good movie..Ravenous.
This movie tells the story of lonely (and bored) travellers coming upon an entity known as the 'wendigo' (i remember a story entitled as such in a collection of stories entitled 'Scary stories To Tell in the Dark', and a very good collection I might add). This story is set in the early 1900's, the main character has a bout with death, he breaks the front lines of the enemy by playing dead. Gets piled with the others and hauled off. As he lies in wait, a body above him seeps blood into his mouth, he escapes the pile of bodies and single handedly takes the enemy.
This becomes a good story in so that he is discharged from the military. He is put on duty within the outskirts of civilization. He meets another along the way who has also 'tasted' human flesh. Hence the wendigo has two characters in this story.
And there's only one way out when this entity has you.
I appreciate this story, it speak volumes about human nature.
