Self publishing the first book in my new fantasy series.

Hi, I have published my fantasy book on Amazon and Ko-Fi and I made the first four chapters free for everyone as a teaser.

I have never written in a forum before now nor do I really use social media so I thought a forum with fellow fantasy lovers would be the best place to start.

I have to admit that I used AI for the cover art but not a single word written is made by AI.

I would love for anyone and everyone to give at least the free chapters a shot.

Sure thing! I just finished it. I like your descriptions of things. Some of them really stuck with me, like the drunk stork, lol.

I read the free sample on Amazon. I noted a couple of minor grammar bugs.

I make it a point to read and review a book or three by the published authors on MS. It might take a while, but yours is on the list.

Sounds great. Im noticing the grammar issues now that I'm recording as well.

Me and a few of my friends have proof read it multiple times but they just slip past me until I read them out loud ๐Ÿ˜…

I intend to make a updates as I progress with the audiobook ๐Ÿ˜

This is one hell of an excuse but I am also dyslexic. So for anyone who feels that its hard or if your feeling stuck. Just keep at it. You'll get there eventually.

Grammar bugs happen. The first time around, I naively trusted MSWord to catch them. It caught maybe one in four. So, I redid them with the free version of Grammarly. That caught about 60% of the bugs, 70% if I paid attention to the gold underlines. In the last few books, I used Paid Grammarly, but it stillmisses the occasional bug.

Oh as an update on the cover art, it is no longer AI I made the new one in Krita with digital tools and used the first AI one as inspiration ๐Ÿ˜

Took about 4 weeks with a couple of hours each day ๐Ÿ˜
