The Latest Nintendo Direct had some wild Pulls.

I am a bit let down that there was no Xenoblade Genesis trailer (
Kirby
instead, but I'll take that too) but there was some WILD stuff.
Metal Gear Slug Collection was an interesting Pull.
might peek at that
Switch Sports Resort (Exclusive to switch 2)
Made me wheeze
Randomly James Bond.
Randomly It Takes Two (Goated Game but ? Why tho)
Persona 6 Title Card
New 2D Metroid Entry
Xenoblade 3 Switch 2 Edition info
And lots of other stuff but only a few that I was intrigued by.
There was a little bit for everyone in this direct but those are the ones that piqued my interest.
I spoilered them in case someone doesn't want to be spoiled. Even though there aren't too many gamers (And probably fewer Nintendo ones) on here.
Over All, pretty solid Nintendo Direct.

I think the June one was far better. But that's probably because the only game I cared about this time was Metroid Ravenous, which I haven't even decided if I'll get or not since there won't be a physical cartridge.

I'm like 95% Digital (Occasionally I get a cart if it's an actual cart)
I'm excited for the new PL game. Kirby. Ravenous, OOT Remake Xenoblade 3 Switch 2 Edition (I was surprised to see it had some meat to it)
Also Excited for Fire Emblem Because I'm nearly completely blind to it. I want to keep it that way until it launches.

The Smaller stuff I wasn't terribly interested in. But it was pretty hype. Might Nab metal Slug anthology and the Tomb raider game. Why they remade it? I have no clue, but if they follow suit with the other og games I'd try the games.

What cracked me up was the previous direct: 'oh god don't let it be starfox' ' WOOOO OOT REMAKE LETS GOOOO' in the same breath, like OOT hasn't had at least 3 Remakes and a Sequel already. lol

To be fair OOT is a far better game. Don't get me wrong: I love me some Ocarina of Time. But I mean, it's nearly 1:1 with some added graphics similar to starfox remake that just came out. I'll take it but yk they could have done more for the 40'th anniversary

When you do play Fortune's Weave, one of us could make a thread about it, and we could compare our experiences. I've played a few Fire Emblem games before, though I'll admit I'm not very good at it, and I'm hoping to wrap up my latest playthrough of Awakening before Fortune's Weave comes out.

I'm in a weird spot with Fire Emblem lol
I'm 'experienced' but I'm not what you'd call 'good'
I've never tried 'maniac' mode or even hard mode. But I'd say I'm slightly better than someone playing for the first time lol

Between the two of us, we'll probably even out somehow. I've played Awakening on hard mode [actually, that's what this current playthrough is], but the problem is that normal is too easy, and hard is too hard. 😅 Almost everyone ended up dying in a hard mode playthrough I did in 2021. Not one of my finest gaming moments.

TBH I wish 'story' difficulties that games sometimes have weren't 'baby game for babies'

Just like, take the edge off a tiny bit, no need to take the difficulty spikes to the floor, or even the basement. I've 100% ed Kirby Games before and the main game is easy, it's the optional post game stuff that's hard as balls.

I've used those 'story' modes before and depending on the game/series about half of them feel like cheating. Not that I have room to talk cause I play survival minecraft with keep inventory on lol

There are plenty of options for a developer to make a game 'easier' without introducing a 'god mode'

Take Tunic for example: It would be far better to be able to switch between half, none, double, or quadruple damage. Same for Stamina and Magic Cost.
