What Are You Playing Now?

Does anyone like Kingdom Come Deliverance 2? That and Crusader Kings 3 are what I'm currently playing.

Like so many other games I've got the first game in my library but not the second, yet, and while I've got a few thousand hours in CK2 I didn't get really into CK3 for some reason.

It probably has to do with the Middle Ages getting supplanted by the 19th century as a focus of my interest. Along with Antiquity which is my traditional interest.

Crusader Kings 2 was a bit better in the narrative sense, but 3 has some updated graphics that are hard to do without once you've played with them. Purists will disagree with me, and in advance I'll say different things matter to different people.

Isn't there a 19th Century Paradox game that's similar to CK? I can't remember what its called.

Paradox have a 19th Century game but its nothing like CK. Its called "Victoria" and its number three in the series.

Can I ask a silly question? Why the deer lol

Also I'm playing through Tunic and a bunch of other stuff at the moments. I'm thinking I need to pick a game and stick to it until it's done.

Advisory for when/if you pick up Tunic? don't underestimate the little mobs, they can and do cook you.

I'm also playing Links Awakening Remake right now, died more to the first miniboss than I did to the first proper boss lol

We had an Atari. During his first deployment, my dad was one of the techs on hand to test out a new sonar system. In 1960-something. In the Med.

He broke a submarine with it.

His second deployment, he went Medical. But! he never stopped playing with tech. I once watched him rewire a Blackberry. He's who taught me that there is nothing at all wrong with stringing multiple HDD's together. So, he got himself and my mom - mostly my mom for her writing - a desktop in 1986 and called it the new car, and we got the Atari because of games like Math Blaster.

I'm afraid I don't understand the joke :/

Also playing some Victoria 3 as I attempt to learn the game. Because you know the 19th Century and all that.
I've been thinking of trying Expedition 33 but apparently the introduction is very uhhhhh not my vibe lol
(Same reason I refuse to try Witcher 3 but for different reasons if that makes sense)
