Feeling like crap, writing and reading and commitment out the door

So I feel like my brain hurts, all the time. Idk if school isn't giving me enough of a challenge so I just got lazy? Or if I'm just tired all the time because I'm not sleeping well and not pursuing things I love? I feel like I never have time until I have all the time and then I don't have the urge to do anything

burn out sucks, don't xpect too much from urslf

"The eye that sees cannot see itself."

I like that quote. Idk I feel like superfluous burnout XD like, I wanna do everything because I don't have any single passion, but then when I actually have time for my hobbies I don't want to do anything but watch Netflix and eat Taco Bell XD

taco bell is a seductress. just prioritize what you want and do it in increments. once you get going you'll becom as interested as you were before, especially w/progress.

At times, I've suffered from the same problem, Thomas L. And what I've found is that I haven't given myself enough time to let my mind rest, yet. If I give myself the adequate amount of rest I truly need, I'm more than eager and ready to get back to work when time allows. If you're like me, you're driven to produce something. Sometimes we drive ourselves too hard, and when we are unable to match our drive with proof of physical and mental capacity, we feel guilty. Creative energy and inspiration are much easier to produce when the mind and body have adequate rest. That was a hard truth for me to finally accept. But when I did, my life became much more enjoyable.

All my best to you, Thomas.

I'll try that! That is almost exactly what I mean!

There are many studies that show (well, of course they do: studies show that studies show) people are actually more productive when they are not working an excess of hours. It comes down to stress. Not worrying, which is what people often mean when they talk about stress, but the physical effects of, well, exactly the things you mention. Too little sleep. Eating at Taco Bell <g> (srsly; eat better). Feeling like you need to get everything done. Taking on too many things. You know the drill.

Here's a bit of Latin for you: age quod agitis. Do what you are doing. Monotask. Take time to smell the roses. Or, as Curly once said, it's about doing one thing. When the wisdom of the ages corresponds with the science of the day, it's time to listen.
