    Calendars in Worldbuilding.

I did the exact same thing. Just keeps it easier.

My "Warm" Welcome to Reddit Where Decency is a Crime and AI-Phobia is a Religion

I checked in on FB this weekend and turned right around and left. Nope, nope, nope.

My "Warm" Welcome to Reddit Where Decency is a Crime and AI-Phobia is a Religion

It would be lovely if everyone took that attitude. Unfortunately, on a great deal of social media, people tend to butt in where they're not invited and hurl their views at you as the only solution to every problem. I can't do it any longer.

My "Warm" Welcome to Reddit Where Decency is a Crime and AI-Phobia is a Religion

Goodness, I just gave up Facebook; who has time for more toxic social media? I have a Reddit account, but like others, I only go there if I come across a relevant post in a Google search. My eldest says it's become quite toxic there, too.

How much is too much worldbuilding?

Oh, okay. My youngest plays D&D, and I know enough to find that amusing. It's good!

Ahhhhh, now I'm intrigued. I've been a gamer since Scott Adam's text adventure games of the 70s. I don't play much anymore unless it's Animal Crossing (even Katamari hurts my hands), but since both my sons and my son in law are gamers, I'm not out of the loop. I can PC game if it's not too...

THAT is one of the benefits of aging. ;) As far as first books go, according to my reliable source, self-published...

    Hello From an Old Person

Yes, and this work is very rewarding. I don't feel old most days. Well, unless I'm talking to my kids. LOL

    Star Trek Ramblings

Sony owns the rights to Spidey, but they were made under Disney's supervision, since they're technically part of the MCU.

I wish I had a family member who would LISTEN when I talk about my writing.

Old Movies that you wish you had seen... (In their Prime)

Now there's a thought - I'd love to have seen Akira on the big screen.
