Hello From an Old Person

Old is 63. I'm glad to see some others who can claim more than two or three decades here. I like my avatar, too. It's very...me. Without actually being me, since I write under a pseudonym.

From the heights of 74, I must say 63 does not appear so very old. In one way, you're quite young, as you are entered upon a new phase of life. Retirement brings a host of new perspectives. Among these is this one: work is rewarding, but a job is a mere necessity.

Yes, and this work is very rewarding. I don't feel old most days. Well, unless I'm talking to my kids. LOL
