Are you 'less' of an adult if you enjoy video games/anime/animation?

There will always be someone who finds something "childish", whether that thing actually is, is another matter.
Lot of adults find Power Rangers and Ninja Turtles 'childish' but let's be real, it's probably the ones that didn't grow up watching it.
That being said I struggle to watch power rangers these days (mostly due to how the story beats unfold, and being a 'product of it's time' whatever that means in this context.) but I still love it. Particularly Dino Thunder and original MMPR.
Ninja Turtles I can still watch because most of the shows are pretty solid and still hold up.
Movies can be hit or miss (Especially the one or two CGI ones) but people like them.

I remember the renaissance years. Shows like Animaniacs. They were a really good at a set of shows - they aired on Nickelodeon before Cartoon Network was a thing. I very much miss the days of satellite TV, it was only for grandparents and weekends. The shows of yesterday year were unaffected by the mass media, and things like that were still active in other countries, you could say the cycle of life and death finally got to us.

There are so many shows I want to get back to and watch, I have been working my way through some, but I bought shows like Invader Zim, Round the Twist, I even got Plasmo, (But they never finished that show to my satisfaction.) All I know is some day they will open the time capsule, my name will be emblazoned and embossed, on a plaque beneath a solid purple statue of Widget, (Yep, the real successor to Winnie the Pooh, not the Gummy Bears.)

There are some relics I want to check out that predate my existence. Monkey and Thunderbirds, can eat my shorts. I still think the renaissance was haunted by the ghost of Jacob Marley. If only it was not a taboo to bring out old eighties classics and try to merge along with Master Control Program and Short Circuit...

How old do you think these shows are? People who grew up with Ninja Turtles are in the 60's now.

There's been multiple series. I grew up with the 2003 series and I still maintain that Stockman's fate in that one was better than his original one. (Well... not better for him.)

I was first exposed to the turtles through the live action films after they had gone out of theater for a few years.

Power Rangers I had only ever seen on Reruns, but I did start watching from the first series. I watched it quite loyally up until (I think) The goofy Ninja ones. I don't remember if I have seen Mystic Force or not. SPD is another season I don't think I watched.

There have been like 5 or 6 iterations of the shows for Ninja Turtles (Seven if we count Next Mutation, but I don't think we need to talk about that one )
And about 2 or 3 movie series. Plenty of lore accurate games too.

To be clear I'm almost in my 40's, if that gives you a timeline for which television content/extended media I was exposed to, even stuff that was reruning at the time.

I HAVE gone back as an adult and watched stuff like He Man etc, but I was raised in the era of Gargoyles, Batman TAS etc I was there for a lot of the good stuff. Especially Avatar The Last Airbender.
