Fantasy Hipster

What's a book you read and no one liked or heard of, but now everyone likes? What makes you a fantasy hipster?

Mine is of course Game of Thrones. I read the first book in 2002, way before most people did.

Anyway, what's your fantasy hipster moment? And what book or books are you reading now that you can probably say "oh, I read that before it was popular?"

The Name of the Wind. I read it the day it came out, I thought I might give a new author a chance. Turned out to be a good choice.
