Number 28 is Dave Duncan, who has written several fantasy series over the years. These include The Seventh Sword and The King's Blades. I'm not very well-versed on this author, but being that he has been very prolific, I assume someone has read his work and can elaborate more. I saw several images for The Jaguar Knights, so maybe this is a recent popular one by him.

Thoughts?

His Venice Trilogy, which starts with The Alchemist's Apprentice, is a marvelous piece of work, IMHO.

Imagine Nostradamus in medieval Venice, solving mysteries with the help of magic... and his apprentice who does all the running around for him.

The Great Game is worth a look-through--it takes apart the trapped-in-another-world plot, then sets the pieces on fire and buries them in separate graves. The Cursed is nothing memorable, but it shows off a couple of clever ideas (including the best interpretation I've ever seen of what the power of "superhuman luck" actually means.) I haven't read any other Duncan.
