Hmmm. I can't say this has happened to me - I'd be a bit nervous to come across some of my characters.

I talk to my characters all the time as if they're real people (mostly when chatting with my RP partner as we play off one another and our characters ooc), but I've never seen them physically manifest before. ; That's bizarre.

I dont know if he means they actually physically manifest. Probably in his imagination they manifest so he can talk to them as if they're sitting beside him. It all depends on the writer I guess. I just like the idea of how real ideas become to writers. Yes, it's a story, but it feels real to the reader if it's real to to writer, too.
