Well, I signed up for Bookroar and put a couple of my books on the site.

They don't seem to have a list of books; instead, you page past individual titles. Each title/page has a timer.

I probably won't start reviewing there for a few days, maybe longer.

I put my book there as well and looked around. It will be a little bit before i can start building credit. Ill get there.

Looks like your obligations for Group #379 is completed. Are you going to try for one of the open slots in Group #380? (the 'out of this world group.') I've been debating it, but...

Im not sure what they mean by out of this world. I like one that is fantasy. Out of this world sounds like scifi to me.

I dont know. I have too much brain fog from the chemo to think on it today. I think I should. Take the fastest path to 25 reviews if I can.

You probably got a day or three to think it over. I'm considering, but I'm in a 'meh' mode regarding reviews a the moment.

Then again, while I have nine books out there, I'm only aiming for 5 or 10 reviews for each of them - enough to qualify for the better promo sites. Twenty-five reviews for the major titles would be nice, but it looks way out of reach. Then again, a year ago, even five reviews per title looked out of reach...

Well...I want to cross reference those reviewing. If there is too much overlap. One dude has me saying...Nope, dont want to be in a group with them. If he's in, I'm out.

I will say after sitting for weeks. Someone did pick up my book on authentic and bought a real copy.

All of the books I put up on Authentic are being reviewed - or have already been reviewed.

Sales, though, are dismal.

Authentic gave me fifty points for being one of their most reliable reviewers. I used them to put 'Labyrinth' and the 'Complete Collection' up for review. The last review for the 'Complete Collection' was but a single sentence. I'm not sure if they read it or not, but whatever. I am debating which other books to list.

I am reviewing my second story for Bookroar. I find it clunkier and slower than Authentic.

With Authentic, the length of the book determines the points awarded. With Bookroar, it is one book, one credit, regardless of length.

With Authentic, I can post the review the next day. With Bookroar, I have to wait 72 hours.

With Authentic, the reviewer confirms the review is up on Amazon. With Bookroar, that responsibility falls on the author.

One of my reviews for Authentic posted after about a month. And...its kind of generic, but....least its up there.

Chemo has wiped me out so much in the last 2 weeks, I think a zombie would have been more productive. I want from Authentic the initial 25 reviews. So far, all my reviews have been pretty positive. But...my book is not being picked up as quickly as yours ;)

I did get my first review that starts with "Wow!"

On the plus side, my cover artist says they will be done on time. My editor wants to charge a lot....I am negotiating...I hope...

Two more days, and I think I am half way through treatment. For now, I am going to expect chemo will take two weeks to recover from and just accept it.
