Avoiding Adverbs and Cliches

Firekeeper

Troubadour
Ahh cool, good to know. I just started using pro writing aid when I posted my entry in Iron Pen.

Looking back over said entry, I did an excellent job of avoiding adverbs. Reading over it, I almost looked like I knew what I was doing in that regard. But trust me, it was pure luck lol

Avoiding adverbs and cliches...

is overrated and unnecessary. The average reader doesn't even notice them unless it's something really egregious like "puzzledly".

I agree, if I spend the time looking for them and not enjoying the actual story that says a lot about the plot of the book. I bet the only people who notice are other writers.

Puzzledly... like that... must use it.;)
