Height Problem

Once had a girlfriend 6'0 in stockinged feet, 6'5 in heels and me being a runt at 5'8. Never saw it as a problem and neither did she. Btw, she was athletic, strong and limber.

Just look at many female high-jumpers and the contortions they go thru.

Just because you can do something for no other reason doesn't mean you should. If you're worried about readers wondering about a certain detail, as the OP expressed, then the detail should serve a story purpose.

Of course, you can put anything you wish in your stories. That's every author's prerogative. It is only my opinion that every concept the author chooses to illustrate, should serve a purpose or be cut.

While I agree with the concept, I tend to apply this idea in a different fashion.

Since I'm a discovery writer, I come up with a character's attributes and make those attributes a factor in the story instead of the other way around. If the OP is in planning stages, it's bad, imo, to throw out these instinctual thoughts about the character. Usually, they lead to interesting places.

My advice: for the first draft, trust your instinct!

There's nothing in physical reality that prevents a 6' woman from being stealthy or a contortionist. So if that's what you want her to be, then that's what she is. You are god! :)
