Hello, from the Caretaker

I just joined Mythic Scribes. I’m working on a little world I call the Meadow. I recently came across the term “Cozy Fantasy,” and I think my world might fit somewhere in that space. It has talking plushies, storybook animals, and a gentle tone. It started as children’s stories and grew from there. I like the idea of a world where healing matters more than conflict, and where the tone can be whimsical, contemplative, or a little silly.

I began writing because I wanted a gentle place to live in — a world shaped by kindness, quiet magic, and soft wonder. I use the Meadow as a place to tell kind, generous, and amusing stories. A place for children, and for adults who want to become like children again. It’s not a traditional fantasy setting; it’s more like a mythic storybook space where plush companions, talking animals, children, hermits, pilgrims, dreamers, and wanderers find rest.

Howdy cehammock, Welcome here. Not a lot of kindness in my world, so yours sounds like a good break from that.
