Hi everyone,

I am pleased to have found this site and forum. Thank you, Black Dragon, and everybody else, for making me feel welcome. I'm a writer of sword and sorcery, trying to create something fresh and new. So I am working on a saga that can be described as "Conan the Barbarian meets The Handmaid's Tale." I've had a number of short stories from the saga published in tiny markets hardly anyone's heard of. Though I do have a tale in an anthology called Young Adventurers. You might find it as a Kindle, I don't know, or even in a bookstore, by some lucky chance.

Anyway, I am looking to get better as a writer, and am especially interested in Character Development and World Building. Nice to "meet" you all!

Good to have you here.
No "meet" is allowed!
Dive in and fight for survival like the rest of us. Put a knife in your teeth, Pirate style, and leap on into the fight.
If it ain't Errol Flynn like you, then you aren't trying...
On the other hand... This is a great place to learn and share.

Is that the original Conan books you speak of or the Conan movies? Either way, sounds interesting!
