High guys

Well, first and foremost, this Asura Levi thing has nothing to do with my name (I bet you are all surprise, :D), anyway, I came to this name while trying to choose for a name I maybe one day would be using as a pseudonym (my actual name doesn't sound that great). At first, I would came to the Levi, the short form of my user name when I played Age of Empires at the MSN Gaming Zone, long long time ago, in a far far away (wait, not that), but really long ago (it was leviathan by the way, who came from FFVIII and I'm just losing my focus here).

But just levi is kind of, well, weak, so I got the Asura thing in the beginning, it sounded nice, I liked it and now I'm using for the first time (hooray).

Now, about me. Actually, I'm brazilian and I'm living in London since October 2012. I lived here before from 2017 to 2011, than I tried my luck back in my country, didn't like it, came back to England (the weather here is more like my kind of weather: rain, rain, rain, cold and rain, sun and then rain).

So, as far as I believe, I do have quite good English skills (I begin to use and proper learn English while playing Age of Empires by the way), I'm sure that I have much to learn and I'm in no way in being really fluent on it (you know, when you use a phrase that have meaning behind meanings, a native of the language get it easily while a foreigner would understand just the superficial one).

Anyway, as I aways liked to write, something that I realised only after I moved to London the first tine, I do write and I write better in Portuguese, but now, as I plan to stay here (London) and maybe publish something, I'm trying to do it in English.
Believe me when I say that most of the time I think in English (which is annoying when I want to write in Portuguese) and I tried many times to develop some plot/story, it go as far as a few chapters.
It is not a writers block since I know about what I want to write, is just the language that get harder and harder as more I write, since I need to use different words and the like (I know a lot but they all seem to go on holiday in the Easter Island when I need those not-that-often-used-that-sounds-better-than-the-overused-common words).
And I started and ended a few blogs trying to post those stories.

Then I came to this bright idea of posting somewhere with more people so I can maybe have a feedback and now I'm trying here. (I did tried forum once, long ago, but it was Portuguese speaking forum and the place seemed to die not long after I joined.)
So let's see what is going to happen.

Sorry about the looong intro, ^^x

Edit:
Just now realised, how in the Seven Heavens did I titled the post like that? Should be just Hi, arrr.

All things considered, I would prefer to be low. What's 2017 like? Has any country publicized their intention to construct an orbital elevator?

Well, it was a weird experience, you know, every year celebrating the new year that was going and the old one that was coming.. I wonder what would had happen if I had kept in such a timeline, but no, no one tried the orbital elevator, it was more like they are just too busy after more petrol than anything else, pretty much like now you see.
Either way, that where a few changes from the other 2013 to this one, maybe with the proper flow of time we will got some plans for the orbital elevator.

(from the guy that tittle 'high; instead of 'hi', you can expect pretty much a lot of mistakes in my writings)

I don't know about that.
What? Is this forum called mystic scribbles?
Asura...
You know that's a form of demon in Indian mythology? So if you got it from there... Thumbs up!!!

I don't bother with time travel these days. I think I'll just wait for 2017 and see what happens.
Welcome.

Thanks for the welcome, and yes, I know where Asura came from. But to tell true, the name came to my mind because I was seeing quite often in the ongoing manhwa Kubera (heavily based on Indian mythology).

I always call this forum Mystic Scribbles. It is part of a subtle, Internet-based martial art passed to me from my father, the Great Founder: Trollio.

Upon his defeat at the hands of the Three Primal Mountain Gods of Guraffu (this story has been played down over the years), Trollio left his home and journeyed far and wide until he came to the laboratories of CERN, where he helped create HTML under the pseudonym Tim Berners-Lee.

Soon afterwards, he gave birth to two sons (ChippedBowlio and PlotHolio) and a daughter (MagicScrollio). The two sons took after their father and spread terror through his new domain, while MagicScrollio, always the solitary child, left on a pilgrimage to discover the true meaning of magic.

PlotHolio now finds joy by writing fantasy, while ChippedBowlio went on to become Justin Bieber. MagicScrollio's current status is unknown.

I had already lost the hope of stumbling upon another brazilian here.
Oh, meet PlotHolio, my minion.
