I picked this game up just a few days ago. I haven't played it much, but so far I'm loving it.
It feels a bit like a 2D platformer version of Legend of Zelda. It's got abilities to unlock, keys and maps to find, and a big world to explore. The controls are good and responsive, but occasionally feel just a tiny bit sluggish (but that's comparing it with a game like They Bleed Pixels).
If you get it, I would strongly recommend NOT skipping the prologue. You have the option to do so, and as far as gameplay goes it doesn't add much, but the story it tells is interesting.
If you've got the time and the money just sitting around and need something to do, then I'd definitely recommend this.
