Shelfari

I recently came across Shelfari. I was just wonder what folks (both readers and writers) thought about it.

So, what do you think about Shelfari? Do you use it? Do you like it?

I've heard of it, but I don't use it. It does sound interesting though!

I used it when it first started, it was still small and pretty good. Then I think Amazon bought it and they began these annoying little prompts to fill this detail and that detail, and when I decided to unsubscribe they wouldn't let me download my book list until I'd filled out some 'minimum' details for (any) book on my list like quotes, reviews, blurb all that. I had downloaded my list complete with date read, personal ratings, reviews, etc., before with no problem. I found that annoying because I couldn't just throw something at them, that would be disrespect to the author, any author, so I spent an hour or two doing that before I could download my book list. Anyway good riddance.

I like Goodreads better, and they have an Android app, which Shelfari doesn't.
