So I finally 'organized' my google docs page.

Doesn't feel as good as the classical definition of 'spring cleaning' does but it does feel...nice?
What I did was:
1: Delete old documents that don't matter anymore.
2: Re-upload my current projects but naming each chapter as a shorthand version of the title + Chapter #

Somehow it just looks so much nicer/easier to navigate.
Beforehand my documents were just a bunch of unorganized untitled chapter 1/2/3 etc documents.
I don't use google docs for much, just as a backup space for my stories, and now that I'm only working on four/five projects.
It looks much 'cleaner' / organized

Its good to organize and makes one feel all warm and fuzzy while it lasts.

Some times I just dont know where all the clutter on my screen comes from.
At least neither of us resort to sticky notes everywhere, that would drive me crazy.
My main plan for Google docs is to keep it as a back up in case my files go missing.
I'm not super good at organizing stuff (Don't ask about my Mine Craft inventory ... ) but there's usually a method to the chaos.
Like my Restroom counter, I have most of my things kinda just sitting there, but they're organized where I know they're at.

I have a similar problem. Drive is a mess no matter how often I reorganize it.
I've solved this for the actual writing because I move the current version of everything into Scrivener (which I've had forever). I do a lot of editing in Scrivener, but prefer Docs for wholesale writing.

For me, its the world building material that's the bigger issue.

Due to how Google Docs 'works' I'm fine with at least numbering/labeling my chapters correctly.
Chapters Related to my Sinbad of the Sand Sea story are titled "Sinbad (Chapter 1-2-3 and so on)"
Chapters of hound and fox are titled Hound And Fox 1, 2, 3 etc
And so forth.
I really wish google docs had folders, that would resolve all of my issues tbh.

Before this, I had them all labeled as 'untitled 1, 2 , 3' and it was driving me nanners one day so I 'fixed' it lol

I don't have that much world building material but I understand the pain. It's part of why I don't delve into that rabbit hole.
