Staying current on business trends in Fantasy Publishing

Russ

Istar
By background I am always keeping one eye on the business aspects of publishing while I am writing.

Currently I read Publisher's Weekly and Locus to try to keep abreast of who is doing what for/with/to whom.

Are there other journals or sources I should be reading to stay on top of the industry?

Thanks in advance for all replies.

Publishers Marketplace (subscription, but it lists most of the deals signed). For an editor, utterly invaluable, much more so than PW.

Digital Book World. Clicking thru their daily mailer is how I start my publishing day.

Amazon. Go to books in your area and check the comments to see what readers want/don't, and check the "also boughts" for other books you should be checking out to get a better sense of your audience. Also check out authors engage their audiences through their site.

The NY Times is useless when it comes to publishing coverage.
