Hey everyone. After looking at this forum on Facebook, I finally decided to make the plunge and register. I'm a member of another writing forum (I won't say what forum) but this forum looked (and sounded) alive, with lots of activity taking place.
I write for fun (instead of for financial gain) and I do it to entertain myself and others.
Anyway, a little more about me: (I'm a very closed/closeted person, by the way, yet I'm also very trusting and trustworthy)...
Anyway, I hope to see you around on the forums,
a dreamy walker
Edit - I was typing this up before I saw the rule about shameless promotion. From now on, I'll refrain from doing so.

- I'm a closeted writer (I feel embarrassed when I tell people I write, because I think that writing is somehow perceived as geeky by the mass media in my country)
- My genres include science-fiction, high fantasy, and in general, anything with an optimistic tone. I also write lyrics/songs.
- I do a lot of brainstorming and conceptual work - most of which is quickly overridden and never sees the light of day.
- I dabble in drawing - mostly ships/other vehicles and tech related items. I would like to expand my skills.
- I'm an IT/computer specialist - I dabble in 3D modelling and graphics from time to time.
- I play computer games - specifically, racing games (both fantasy and real-world) but I would like to expand my skills into role-playing and whatnot - despite having personal problems that limit me in this regard.
- And my favourite fictional game series is wipEout (specifically, Wip3out or wipEout 3)
- And finally, I like to walk, drive or cycle, and I love to travel and see new places (and listen to bands like the Arctic Monkeys
Anyway, I hope to see you around on the forums,
