Hi All, I've been writing in this genre for almost four years now and have enjoyed it. No muse problems. I started writing a fan-fiction short (first fiction ever) based on half a minute of the LOTR extended first disk -- a rainy weekend project. It ended up being six volumes. The one I'm doing now is less than half that but I need to rewrite the middle third for pacing and material errors in the time it takes to get from A to E. That's almost ready for a month of deep-freeze so I can come at it with fresh eyes. A couple smaller non-fantasy ideas are taking form in the meantime.
