Article Team
  1. Thou shalt not earmark the pages of a book.
  2. Thou shalt not use a book as a menial object, least of all as a coaster.
  3. Thou shalt not open a book nor turn its pages with unwashed hands (or comparable device).
  4. Thou shalt not overextend the spine of a book.
  5. Thou shalt not hastily nor forcefully place a book into a container, be this a bag or a bookshelf.
  6. Thou shalt not write nor draw in a borrowed book.
  7. Thou shalt not forget to return a borrowed book.
  8. Thou shalt not neglect to dust thine books.
  9. Thou shalt shelter thine books from humidity, direct sunlight and other agents of decay.
  10. Thou shalt not lend books to people unwilling or incapable of heeding these commandments.

Just a bit of fun ;) Should you ever need it, or find someone who needs to read it, just copy and paste the above.
