Hello Mythic Scribes Fam! I'm Marcel Jones and new to the MS family. Hope all of you had a crackin' 2023, and here's to an even better 2024!

What were some of the favorite reads in 2023?

Myth Weaver
Hail and well-met AuthorMarcel
Good to have you here.
I've not been reading much this last year* and what I have has been mostly rereads of Crime Fiction.
That is apart from The Warriors by Sol Yurick [a great read!] and A Brave New World by Aldous Huxley [great ideas but I'm still on the fence].
* I lost my "reading seat" and can't find another one as good.

I enjoyed reading Butcher's Crossing by John Williams. A great, focused western with an interesting cast of characters.

Marcel Jones?! Welcome welcome! I think I beta read for you a few years ago from Goodreads! Amazing to see you here!

I got to read Tolkien's Silmarillion this year and I also enjoyed Summer Bird Blue by Akemi Dawn Bowman!
