FWIW, I read the quote as ironic humor. I cannot otherwise explain why I smiled when I read it.
Maester[Naruzeldamaster coughs in the king midas but weird idea and the Pokemon but slightly more mature idea he wants to write but also has decided to finish the four projects he's currently working on first]Don't be afraid to write that weird story. You also don't need to write every day.
Point made, but I feel like quotes like these are more than open to more than one interpretation (at the very least, a direct/intended one and an indirect/unexpected one) tbh, even if the unspoken punchline is there. Quotes like 'Siths only speak in absolutes' also have more than one interpretation.Pretty sure it's just you. The quote sets up the implied but unspoken punchline that work just stops, and there is no mention of the train and the bus stopping because they love this work... That makes no sense. Remember, context, and the establishment of that context, are crucial to the reader's understanding and connecting with our work.
