Being of Non-Human status was fine in the Human world, it was when I was forced to move to the other realms that things started to get complicated. Vampires, Shifters, and Witches, oh my! Dorothy and Toto have got nothing on my adventure. As requested I have recorded my journey through this crazy world filled with so much more than Humans can imagine. It might not be where the story began, because I don't think anyone remembers any more, but it starts the moment I stepped into the story.

When a fire breeds with an air, the stronger geneology of the fire elemental shines through. It has always been that way with those two particular elements - the air feeds the fire. In my case, the mix took a strange turn.
My elemental powers are generally fire orientated, but I don't look like them enough. They often call me a freak or a mutant, and I guess they're right. I'm used to it by now, I keep myself to myself and try to stay off everyone's radar. Not easy, when my Uncle is the King's General, best friend to the Prince and intended to Princess Freya herself. But I somehow managed it... until Snow came along.

My Father's heart, and mind, had been broken when my Mum died. So when my brother had gone off to college and my best friend moved in, it was a relief not to feel so alone. Making room for her meant clearing away some old things, that was when I found out I wasn't entirely Human.
Kept hidden all these years, one of my Mother's biggest secrets became revealed: Me. One of the last in the most powerful line of witches known, I was hidden away in the Human world. But now is the time for me to return to the other realms, what I return to is not for the faint of heart.

By tradition I have until my 25th year to live a life that is my own. As the young Vampiress with Ancient Winterbourne blood I have never questioned my purpose, I know what I must do. Until then, I live my life, however duplicitous it may be.
My secret life is about more than duty and I find that as my time approaches, I am torn between duty and the greater good.

I'm of the Earth, my people are one with the soil, the trees, the animals that inhabit our forests. I was happy to be chosen as a Tender of the Herds. The Unicorns are the most wonderous creatures ever to grace us and I gladly serve them.
When a young foal is born struggling to survive I could do no less than pledge myself to save this magical being. Until help arrives I am all that keeps it from deaths door. The fine line that separates our soul's when we heal is never to be crossed - that is what we are taught, that is the law we must adhere to. But for a Unicorn...
