Into Destiny: All over Again! XD

You guys here in the Games Forum are never going to believe this!

Well, to start with: I did play a little of Destiny some years ago, back in the days when I got my PS3. The vanilla Destiny was part of the bundle back then, so I played it for some time and I enjoyed the game to a good degree. It was fun, and I loved the general feeling and atmosphere a lot back then.

Then, I read somewhere that the vanilla Destiny was just a skeleton of a game or something like that, and that the companies involved were very greedy selling the expansions and so on at very high prices. This discouraged me a lot in those days, so I stopped playing Destiny and I fell in love with other games like the original Assassin's Creed, Alice Madness Returns and Garden Warfare instead.

Update to a few days ago:

So I went to Chedraui one day (a supermarket chain here) and surprise! They had Destiny The Collection for PS4 at a remarkably low price of 295 pesos. I decided to purchase it, and bad news: The games in question were not new anymore, since the supermarket had decided to open them so they could show personally to potential customers that the DLC codes inside had already expired.

Chedraui Guy: We opened them. The codes have expired, you see?
Sheilawisz: Alright! I can play vanilla Destiny anyway, but you have to make a special discount!
Chedraui Guy: Alright! Let me see what I can do.

In the end, I got the game for a ridiculous price of 147.5 pesos!

On top of that, the DLC codes turned out to be functional... which means that I just got the full Destiny game for an unbelievably low price! Wow! I just cannot believe my good fortune! I have already started to play my beloved Destiny all over again but in PS4 this time, and this thread is going to be all about my new adventure.

Are there other Destiny players around here?

I spent a lot of time playing Destiny on PS4 when it first came out. It's a great game, and I loved playing it with my friends. Unfortunately, my life has become too busy to play online games these days. Such games require large blocks of uninterrupted time to gear up and complete missions. I don't have that anymore.

Hello everyone!

I spent a lot of time playing Destiny on PS4 when it first came out. It's a great game, and I loved playing it with my friends. Unfortunately, my life has become too busy to play online games these days. Such games require large blocks of uninterrupted time to gear up and complete missions. I don't have that anymore.

Well Tony, I recommend very much that you give Garden Warfare an opportunity. It's all online and you can play with friends, the combat is wonderful and it does not require very long gaming sessions to gear and level up. My gaming sessions are in average one hour every night, and that's enough time to have a lot of fun with the Plants and the Zombies.

The game looks very cartoonish and sweet, but it does take a lot of skill if you are facing good opponents in the battlefield.

About Destiny:

My experience with Destiny in PS4 has been absolutely wonderful so far! The graphics are so beautiful, the atmosphere is great and I am unbelievably happy with everything. My original character from PS3 was imported to my PS4, but I created a new one anyway and I am already a level 7 Warlock and I have collected a lot of stuff and guns for my lady Guardian at this point.

I have reached the first Moon mission, and everything is going just fine.

My plan is to perform a very personal solo-style run of Destiny just like I do in Bloodborne, no help from anybody else! Let's see how far I can get in battle all by myself, and how fast I can level up and collect decent gear. Also, I have to try the Crucible player battles and learn to fight other Guardians in there.

In general, PS4 Destiny is a lot better than the PS3 version at least as I remember it.

I am not sure yet of how to access House of Wolves and the other expansions that I downloaded, so we'll see. The Sparrow thing is also very new to me since I barely tried it back in the PS3, and it feels great. Oh, and the best part: No motion sickness at all! Take that, Witcher 3! Any decent game is supposed to be good and entertaining, not to send its players straight to the doctor's office.

The Tower is quite active with Destiny players running around, and sometimes I interact and even dance with them.

I have Destiny on PS4. It's a lot of fun, though I probably haven't played it in almost a year. I'll go through periods of 2 or 3 months of playing it a lot, then stop for a while. I do that with a lot of games.

Hello everyone!

These recent days have been quite busy for me here in Pachuca, so I have not played my beloved Destiny as much as I would have liked. My gaming time has been a bit too limited, but still I have managed to make some upgrades and advancement in the game.

I'm glad to hear that the Destiny online community is alive and well. I have many awesome memories of going on raids with my buddies.

The Destiny community in PS4 is more than alive and well, there are so many players running around! When I patrol at the Moon, I have to hurry up and shoot the Fallen up quickly before other Guardians kill everything. I love that I wave at them and they wave back, and sometimes they even bow at me. Very friendly people in the Destiny community, it's just lovely.

Tony, could you please explain to me how to join raids?

Destiny is a lot of fun indeed, Steerpike! I am crazy happy and very entertained and excited with my Destiny adventure. I do that too, I mean that I play and play and play the same game for months, and then I allow it to have some rest. After that I play some other game for a long time, and then I play the other game all over again and so on.

At the moment, I am trying to have some rest from AC Syndicate and Bloodborne.

Adventure Update!

I have just become a Level 12 Warlock tonight, so I have to celebrate! I just completed the super exciting Moon mission called Chamber of Night as a level 11 Warlock, with my lovely Galahad-B as my primary gun and the Hieracon-LR2 as my sniper rifle. And all by myself! No help from anybody else, yay! I love this game! Now I have access to Venus, but I want to complete the other Moon mission first.

As a level 12 Warlock I am already wearing far better armor than before, this game is unbelievable!

I also want to play again with my old character from the PS3 days. She got imported into PS4 as soon as I installed Destiny, and is a Warlock as well at Level 7. Curious feelings that I have, quite some nostalgia for the Playstation 3.

I am going to share a video of my Destiny gameplay in this thread, as soon as I have a very good one!
