Hello, Mythic Scribes,
I am Mathas. I am currently grappling with the idea of trying to write my first fantasy fiction novel. I think I have a great idea, and I am working on the bare bones of it now. It has started with a character; now, there's an entire history and the conflict of that character, as well as the over-arching power that is driving the story. I am trying to build the world now, and it would be great if I could learn on this forum exactly how to bring the idea out. I am an artist, and, to my detriment and joy, my mind has extremely vivid images about how I want it all to play out. Hopefully, I can learn how to translate brain pictures into physical words! I have many questions, and I am willing to charge myself with the monumental task of thumbing through these countless tomes of knowledge.

Welcome, I too am a prospecting writer with a new world I want to have published. I have found that just writing certainly helps, even if what you write will be edited out down the line. It all helps toward building the world and cutlers within.
