I really liked this article from Writer's Digest. Especially the part about "letting others reject you." That's something I never really thought about before. That getting rejected by others is much better than constantly rejecting yourself.

I just read the same article this morning and it helped me overcome a sudden desire to give up my attempt at writing. Being self-critical will always be my most ferocious adversary, but I hope to learn ways to quell the need to always correct myself. This article was a positive stepping stone to that end and I recommend it to everyone.
