Slloooow reply, but it is excellent software as far as mapping goes. PC only which screws me, at least the last I knew. The world building application is really sweet. I used that to build some basics of the world before going in with Photoshop to make it more like I wanted. Better for random worlds, but I was able to do my custom world there with climates, etc.. The city mapper is pretty slick, as well. If gaming anymore, I would use it more.

I used this a long time ago when it was just campaign cartographer. It was pretty easy to use and made a decent map. But I did not dwell on it and learn all its ins and outs. If I was inclined, I would not mind owning this.

I used to use it but I now prefer to make my maps in Photoshop. I've found a lot of brushes for fantasy maps.

Oh yes, a special note: City Designer is sweet, as it’ll plot out streets of buildings in a flash, which is mighty helpful when trying to shoot out speedy city maps.
