Calculating radius of empire increasing

There's an issue of scale here, as well. Your world is infinite. Infinite. Bigger than galaxies, bigger than our observable universe. It's a size that humans would be unable to comprehend. The way you're describing it, the empire must be huge. The size of galaxies. Otherwise it's pretty much microscopic considering the scale of the world. So you need faster than light communications for this to even have a chance at working. And I find the idea that political bodies of a similar size haven't developed in an infinite world ridiculously improbable.

Thank you for all your answers. After considering what you wrote, I think that this question is too difficult to answer considering the information I have given you. This is still an idea in progress so I am still trying to cover everything.

But even so, you gave me great answers that warned me about things I have to consider.
