Competitive writing?

I'm new here, so I'm not quite sure if it has been done/is a future plan, but maybe a bit of competition would be good for the avid writer, judged by some of the owners and moderators of this website.

There is a Challenges forum designed just for that, where different challenges and competitions take place. Like the new Iron Pen. Get to 5 posts and you can enter it too.
