E-mail Notifications

Hi people.

I’ve turned off the email notifications in my preferences, but I still seem to get some. Is it a bug or is it me?

There's a lot of places in the system you might be getting emails from, so be sure to explore the settings page thoroughly. There's also a newsletter that's a little different than the notifications.

I turned all the emails off a long time ago, so I'm not sure about the newer system. But in the older system it automatically had you follow each thread you posted in. So even after I turned everything off, I had to "unfollow" each of the old threads I got an email from until it stopped. It may still be that way, I'm not sure.

Yeah. I got an email when CupofJoe posted in Random Thoughts, but not when you replied. I found the Manage Watched Threads and just turned off all email notifications there, so that might sort it.
