Hey all, hopefully soon I will be starting my research for a new novel. I have some resources compiled but was wondering if anyone could add some of their own. I’m working with free resources bc I have to write in secret and any purchases may arouse suspicion. These are what I have:

Your reading list has an article on writing noir, so may I recommend Raymond Chandler's essay The Simple Art of Murder? I believe anyone attempting noir should read it. Even if you don't agree with Raymond Chandler's points, I believe it'll help you develop your style and/or process.
