Food combos that you didn't think would work but you like?

I tried Onion rings and BBQ Sauce once and I was instantly hooked.
Works best with a more tangy/sweet sauce but just about any will do.
French fries are the same way but not as good as O rings.

Toasted banana and bacon sandwiches.
The bacon has to be fairly [or very] crispy, and the bananas on the ripe side.
You can either slice or more satisfyingly mash the bananas.
The saltiness of the bacon and the sweetness of the banana work well together.
And
Plum and chicken curry, a friend made for me. Lots of garlic, onion and split peas[?].
Maybe it sounds a bit weird, but it was delicious.

My diet is just too boring to have interesting combos. Recently, I have been adding blue-berries and banana to my brown-sugar oatmeal. It does not really go together, but...I was kind of ordered to eat more stuff and gain weight. In the future, I may skip the blue-berries, but for now...

Somewhat recently, I had this great idea...What if rather than dipping tostitos into the queso dip, I dipped a dorito instead. I thought might be awesome, decadent, cheesy goodness, but...it was not actually a great combo. What can you do? I guess Queso was made for tostitos.

I thought the rule was, anything with bacon is made better. Maybe if I dipped the bacon...
